WHO WE ARE
At HAS Foundation - Our mission is to inspire mindfulness, support the development of innovative solutions, and enhance quality of life. We work to advance healing, recovery, and well-being for individuals affected by neurological conditions and brain trauma—including complex neurodegenerative disorders such as ALS, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and Parkinson’s disease, all of which share underlying challenges related to progressive neural deterioration, impaired communication between brain cells, and declining cognitive or motor function.
Through science, compassion, and ethically grounded collaboration, we aim to address these common challenges with care and innovation. We are dedicated to supporting research, treatment, and rehabilitation across the spectrum of brain and neurodegenerative conditions, advocating for those affected, and providing ongoing support to survivors and families throughout their journey toward recovery, adaptation, and improved quality of life.
We don’t work alone- we bring together medical professionals, legal experts, researchers, and community partners to close critical gaps in care. We serve as a bridge- connecting individuals affected by neurological conditions to the people, resources, and systems that can support their healing, recovery, and long-term well-being.
Through our conferences and events, we create spaces for collaboration, raise public awareness, and highlight emerging research and care practices—ensuring these conversations translate into action.
We are committed to:
Support patients, families, and caregivers through financial assistance programs that help reduce barriers to care.
Provide care navigation by connecting individuals and families with trusted specialists, resources, services, and support systems throughout their healthcare journey.
Advocate for underserved and underrepresented patients to help ensure equitable access to care, information, and opportunities.
Offer non-clinical guidance and community support that empowers patients and caregivers with education, connections, and resources throughout every stage of care.
Advance innovative research in neuroscience, neuroplasticity, and evidence-based, non-invasive therapeutic and rehabilitative approaches.
Strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration
among researchers, clinicians, healthcare institutions, and innovators to promote ethical care coordination, informed decision-making, and patient-centered neurological care.
Bridge scientific discovery with patient impact by connecting neuroscience research, therapeutic development, and the individuals and families who can benefit from emerging advances.
Expand access to research by connecting patients with clinical trials and helping researchers engage broader, more diverse communities.
Foster interdisciplinary collaboration by convening scientists, clinicians, engineers, artists, innovators, industry leaders, and investors to accelerate discovery and innovation.
Translate science into understanding by increasing public awareness and making emerging neuroscience research accessible to patients, families, healthcare professionals, and the broader community.
